Good news! You can still process an Add-On via Merchant Portal if the customer doesn't have their card with them at the time of purchase. You have two options:
Option 1
Ask the customer to use their Latitude Mobile App to locate their application number. If they need help downloading the app they can go to the Mobile App section in our Latitude Financial Help Centre.
Option 2
- Log into Merchant Portal
- On the left-hand side menu, go to Add On Sale.
- Tick the box on Add On Sale screen that says 'Customer card not available'.
- Input the customer's Driver's Licence number and Date of Birth
- Hit the 'Search' button
- If the customer has a valid account, proceed with the Add-On.
If the customer has a valid account, proceed with the Add-On.
The customer has just been approved but does not have their card. How can I process a sale?
- Log into Merchant Portal
- On the left-hand side menu, go to Add On Sale,
- Input the customer’s name,
- Input the customer’s account number in the Account Number field,
- Input the promotion details, goods description and purchase price
- Submit the sale.
- Print two copies of the eSales Voucher, one for the store and one for the customer
- Request customer to sign the store copy of the eSales Voucher
